We helped Baldwin High School's Theater Department create a few simple costumes for their production of Grease! Kathleen Schulz was the costume designer for the production. The Sewing Hui helped make costumes for the beauty school dropout scene. We made simple capes for this scene.

 

Wave of Harmony Foundation is a new organization on Maui whose mission is to support performing arts for youth in our schools and community theater.  It was founded by Barry Kawakami, a Maui native who attended Baldwin High School. After graduation, he went to NYC and had a variety of entertainment related careers.  He returned to Maui recently and started helping out where he could.  His foundation paid the royalty fee for Baldwin High School's Theater Department to put on Grease in Spring 2024.
